Audi Faults? We’ll Find Them
From time to time unexpected faults will occur with your Audi. We use the latest technology and fault finding techniques to limit the time taken to diagnose your fault.
We cover the full range of faults from ABS, Airbag or SRS, suspension level control, engine management lights or EML, EPC and other faults which don’t show a warning such as doors not opening or heater faults.
Our hourly rate is £72 plus VAT – favourable compared to dealership rate. Many faults are typically diagnosed in one hour.
We cover the full range of potential faults, ranging from Climate Control, ABS, Airbag, Engine Management, Traction Control. We are also able to diagnose faults which don’t show a warning light, such as faulty windows or unusual noises.
If a warning light does appear on the dash panel, it is important to have it checked as soon as possible. Certain warning lights can signify deeper issues within your car, potentially causing break downs in the middle of a journey. Prolonged driving with warning lights showing will also cause further damage to pre-existing issues, meaning more work, and more money spent.
All of our technicians are manufacturer trained, so you can be certain that your Audi vehicle is in good hands. Once diagnosed, you will be given a fixed quote based on our findings for the repair your car needs.
Sometimes, one fault can unfortunately lead to another. If this is indeed the case, you are free to return to Sultas to discuss further work. If you do choose our team to undertake your repair, work will be carried out to the highest standard.
Visit our warning light page to see what you’re dealing with, and feel free to contact us to book an appointment. If you are unsure which light is illuminated please call us on 0113 279 7992.
Audi Diagnostics FAQs
What is an Audi diagnostic check?
An Audi diagnostic check is a thorough scan of your vehicle’s electronic systems to identify any faults or issues. It helps detect problems with the engine, transmission, brakes, and other key components before they lead to costly repairs.
How do I know if my Audi needs a diagnostic check?
If your Audi’s dashboard warning lights come on, you experience unusual performance issues, or notice strange noises or vibrations, a diagnostic check can help pinpoint the problem.
How long does an Audi diagnostic check take?
Most Audi diagnostic checks take around 30 to 60 minutes. However, if additional testing is needed, it may take longer to investigate complex issues.
Will a diagnostic check tell me exactly what’s wrong with my Audi?
A diagnostic check identifies fault codes and potential issues, but further inspection may be required to confirm the exact cause of the problem.
Can I drive my Audi if a warning light is on?
It depends on the warning light. Some, like the check engine light, indicate issues that should be addressed soon, while others, like oil pressure or brake system warnings, mean you should stop driving immediately and seek assistance.
How much does an Audi diagnostic check cost?
Our initial inspection is £72 plus VAT, but prices may vary depending on the level of diagnostics required. We offer transparent pricing, and if repairs are needed, we’ll provide a clear breakdown of costs before proceeding.
Will a diagnostic check reset my Audi’s warning lights?
If the issue has been fixed, we can reset the warning lights. However, simply clearing the codes without addressing the root cause may lead to the light coming back on.
